Responsibilities

This is a Network Engineering (System Engineering Technical Advisor-SETA) position within the Intelligence Community (IC) client's COMM Network Systems Group (NSG). 

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide networking background, expertise and valued judgement to collaborate, analyze, recommend, and support new requirements and projects that affect the infrastructure. 
  • Utilize knowledge and experience with networking and the client's environment to assist in analyzing and tracking Request For Changes (RFCs) that impact NSG and supporting service providers. 
  • Leverage technical expertise to provide technical assessments and recommendations for network changes and provide briefs to leadership.
  • Analyze and advise on cost/benefit of changes. 
  • Research historical cost and prepare recommended cost sheet.
  • Will work in a team environment to assess and making network architecture improvement recommendations that are in-line with the organization's visions and goals. 
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy—oral and written.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2 or HS 8-10
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in science or engineering
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Network certification (i.e. CCNA).
