Program Description
This opportunity provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an IC customer with a focus on assured space communications and supporting IT infrastructure. This is primarily broken into three major divisions including engineering, acquisition, and mission operations. Engineering support focuses on the end-to-end processes for managing programs, including readiness, configuration management, integrated master schedule, systems analysis, future studies and innovations. Acquisition support is focused on helping government COTRs in all aspects of managing development contracts to deliver capabilities that meet requirements. Mission operations roles include the support to integrating new capabilities into operations and leading anomalies response teams when issues arise.
Specific Position Description
This position is contingent on winning the FALSTAFF competition. This is a senior engineering position focused on the client’s future mission strategies, next generation advancements and new mission areas. The work will involve communicating with system users to identify future requirements and needed capabilities and then develop plans and strategies to fill the gaps and meet those requirements through innovation, leveraging of future enterprise infrastructures and joint collaborations with other government entities to promote and advance the FALSTAFF client’s mission. As needed, this position will support special studies to evaluate future potential technologies that could be used to advance the client’s mission. Additional duties include facilitating, tracking, and promoting innovation ideas from across the client’s organization, which will lead to improved performance and/or more efficiency.
